An Awaiting Dance, 2020

While walking in Andalusia (ES), five workmen stood in the distance in the same position as in Matisse's Dance. Except that they were not connected, almost waiting to be allowed to dance and, unlike Matisse's painting, the landscape took over the act of dancing. The scene expresses man's almost lost unconscious feeling of being involved in the rhythms of nature.
